Crystal Reeves is a multi-talented digital artist. Her extensive knowledge of Post-Production from both the creative and the technical side of the industry help to drive her forward in the industry. Her focus on DI colour correction, visual effects and editing make her a triple threat in the picture post-production world.
After graduating from Confederation College's Film Production program Crystal located to Toronto where she was eager to get her feet wet. She worked her way up the ladder from Jr. Visual Effects Artist to Producer at Red Square Motion. In those 4 years she has developed many skills from Colour Correction and Visual Effects to the technical understanding of film deliverables. She was online-editor and lead digital artist at Red Square Motion for Season 1 of YTV series The Stanley Dynamic and managing the picture post-production of Season 2 later that year. She has gotten the opportunity to grade MasterChef Canada CTV commercial along with her first feature length film, The Pineville Heist (2016) and numerous short films over the past couple years. After spending some time freelancing for a various projects in various aspects of post-production. Crystal has partnered with Pasha Patriki to create PurpleDOG, a full-service post facility located in Mississauga.
Every opportunity presented to her became a new challenge to take head on. In the summer of 2016 a project required a 3D CGI element. She took on the challenge and learned with the team how to model, rig, texture, animate and render 3D moths in time for the VFX for the horror film The Sound (2017).
Crystal has a passion for the industry and has quickly developed herself as an asset to the projects she works on.
